Hi, I’m Sara. I write analysis and guides for books across genres. You’ll also catch me deep diving the faithfulness of screen adaptations for books.
I have never stopped having fun with my degree in English. Since getting the diploma in 2008, I have been analyzing the minutiae in books. I love bringing textual details to light through annotation, and I equally love writing and talking about what I discover online.
Where You Can Find My Book Analysis
Here on this blog of course! But I also treasure the online book community and the spaces it provides for readers to discuss the details in books. You can find me hanging out on Bookstagram, BookThreads, BookTok, Substack, and #TheStacksPack Discord on any given day. They are the places I go for book chatting.
The Books I Read
- I intentionally read books written by authors who represent and tell stories about the global majority.
- My 2026 reading focus (continued from 2024 and 2025) is memoirs, fantasy, and wellness books written by Black women.
- I am a huge fan of The Stacks Podcast, bookclubs, my Satisfiction box, and the Storygraph app.
- My monthly TBR is governed by several incoming tides, namely Libby holds, book box subscriptions, and bookclub selections.
